Very light Granite Countertops with a dark cabinet

Very light Granite Countertops with a dark cabinet and stainless appliances is a very popular combination. This gives the room a very modern look. The focus is more on the cabinets. In this case and from this photo the backsplash is a bit to random and out of place. I think some more thought on the backsplash would balance the kitchen a bit better.

    I totally agree I feel like the light granite with the dark cabinets look great! I have been looking at different ideas because I'm getting granite countertops in NJ installed soon but I still haven't picked out a design yet. You have definitely helped,thank you for sharing this with us Paul!

    Thank you for your comment. The look is very rich and sophisticated. It would look great in your granite countertops in NJ kitchen renovation project. Many granite colors in light tones can accent your backsplash and wall colors as well as the other decor that you have choosen for your kitchen
